A Great Quote for Those Tough Days

“It isn’t as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don’t worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers.”

Did You Know?

Turkeys can have heart attacks. Groups of turkeys, sometimes known as a rafter of turkeys would drop dead when the Air Force was conducting test runs and breaking the sound barrier nearby. Apparently turkeys can drown if they look up when it is raining. Excessive turkey breeding has caused turkey breasts to grow so enormous that the turkeys sometimes fall over. The Pilgrim Fathers would not eat lobster because they thought it was a giant insect.

Random Thoughts

As Mr Wright and I watched TV recently, I started to think...stop laughing.

The program had a character that was terminally ill and was on her death bed in a great deal of pain. She wished she could end her life to be free of the pain but she was Catholic and knew that doing so would send her straight to hell. She asked her friend to do it for her since he was not Catholic.

Here is where my thoughts lead:

If she believed that she would be damned for committing murder or in this case suicide, why was it okay for someone else (a friend) to commit the crime just because he didn't believe? Wouldn't everyone be punished the same way, despite their believes? Does this mean if you don't believe you will be free from consequences? Do other people really believe this?

I got the "it's only TV" look from Mr Wright - but someone wrote this, someone thought about this - right?
